Highly Rated 2020

Auto Trader Highly Rated is back for 2020!

Each year we take the opportunity to recognise retailers who have excelled in customer service. We know that consumers want a transparent buying experience and that trust is key. Trust in the vehicle, trust in the price and trust in you – the retailer.

Dealer Reviews are a great way for you to build trust up with potential car buyers, and showcase your excellent customer service with potential buyers. This is why we created our Highly Rated Award. The Award recognises those retailers that have achieved the following criteria with their Dealer Reviews[1]:

·     An overall rating of 4* and above

·     A required number of reviews on their account, relative to the size of their forecourt

·     Frequent responses to their customers’ reviews

In July, we will be announcing which retailers have successfully qualified for a 2020 Auto Trader Highly Rated Award. This year, over 1,800 retailers have qualified and therefore will receive a suite of digital and physical assets so that they can promote their success with car buyers on Auto Trader and in their own digital and physical showrooms.

We’ve seen a big surge in buyers returning to our platform, our audience is back to pre-COVID levels and is actually higher than this time last year; with unique visitors to Auto Trader now at over 1.1 million per day[2]. And the audience is actively engaged. Leads being sent to retailers are also up over 70% vs. this time last year[3]. Therefore, given the current climate, having a Highly Rated Award can help you build trust with these buyers, stand out against competitors and close more sales.

It has never been more important to showcase trust and transparency with potential car buyers, and we know that consumers love good news, awards and reviews – so stay tuned to find out if you made this year’s list.

We’ll launch this year’s Highly Rated Award in early July.
