Enhanced VIN spec data is available for an increasing number of brands on Auto Trader, with Volvo being the latest addition to integrated manufacturers. With this powerful data, the optional specification that a vehicle left the factory with is automatically added upon lookup. This means describing a vehicle’s optional extras with 100% accuracy takes just a matter of minutes.

Scott Greensmith, Motorpoint’s digital partnerships manager, speaks about how they have integrated this data into their everyday practices to maximise margin, save valuable time and build trust with their customers.

What other manufacturer brands are integrating with enhanced VIN spec data?

Enhanced VIN spec data is available for an increasing number of brands. With the addition of Volvo, there are currently 11 brands benefitting, with more major brands on track to be integrated by the end of the year and beyond. The full list of brands currently benefitting is available here.
