To elevate the buying experience and drive more online sales for retailers through Deal Builder, any of your customers choosing to reserve with Auto Trader will now automatically receive a 27-point Vehicle Check report with the option to register for the data guarantee of up to £30,000.

Enabling Vans to be part-exchanged through Deal Builder

Your customers can now part-exchange a van when buying a car through Deal Builder. This is the first step towards enabling vans to be sold through Deal Builder in the coming months.

Growing our marketing of Deal Builder

We’ve been expanding our marketing of Deal Builder to reach more digital-ready buyers and get Deal Builder stock in front of these buyers.

Adding deal builder stock to our SEO landing pages

On Auto Trader we have a huge amount of landing pages that are optimised for search engine results. As an example, we have numerous landing pages that are optimised to guide users onto Auto Trader’s website when searching for vehicles of certain body types, fuel types, transmissions and budgets. These pages receive high amounts of traffic, and visitors to these pages often show a high purchase intent.

As part of our commitment to scaling our consumer-facing marketing activity for Deal Builder, we recently added Deal Builder stock to these SEO-optimised webpages. These new sections have been added to highlight vehicles that are specifically available to reserve on Auto Trader, with the aim of directing consumers with high purchase intent to Deal Builder adverts.

Deal Builder messaging has been actively taking over our Auto Trader homepage over the last few months. This drives awareness of vehicles ready to be reserved on Auto Trader to the millions of consumers landing on our most visited webpage every month.
