Adding more flexible routes into building a deal to provide greater choice for your customers

Consumers now expect choice and flexibility in how they buy a vehicle, with varying preferences for how much of the buying journey they complete online.

To meet these diverse expectations, we’re making changes to how your customers can start building a deal from your advert, aiming to enhance their experience and drive better outcomes for you.

What are the changes?

Our research shows that preferences vary when it comes to how much of the buying journey consumers want to complete online. Our priority is to ensure buyers can easily access the journey that best suits their needs, making the process quicker and more intuitive.

Providing more choice upfront

To meet evolving expectations, we’re introducing a new ‘Reserve’ option on your advert pages, allowing your customers to quickly complete their reservation with the £99 fee.

Your customers will still have the choice to build a deal if they wish to add a part-exchange or complete a finance application.

By enabling your customers to select their preferences upfront, they can submit high-intent deals more efficiently through a streamlined process.

These deals will continue to appear in Sales Hub as they do today, so there’ll be no change to your operational processes.

We’ve been testing these changes with a proportion of our audience over the last few months whilst monitoring results. We’ll continue to ensure we’re providing the best experience for your customers over the coming weeks.
