Deal Builder Product Update – Summer 2024

What’s new with Deal Builder as we enter Summer 2024?

We've been busy working to improve Deal Builder over the last few months, aiming to deliver the best experience possible for both retailers and car buyers.

Here’s a few of the things we’ve been working on over the last few months…

Scaling our Deal Builder marketing

As part of opening the Deal Builder trial to more retailers, we’re scaling our consumer-facing marketing activity to raise awareness of this new buying journey and attract more digital-ready buyers to Deal Builder adverts.

This marketing activity encompasses 3 key areas:

  • Expanding our on-site coverage of Deal Builder to increase awareness of the journey

  • Improving our in-journey marketing to maximise conversion through the Deal Builder journey

  • Scaling up our ‘buy online’ digital marketing, SEO and PR activity to bring in-market buyers to Deal Builder stock on our site

 

Enabling deals without a Reservation

We’ve enabled visibility of deals where a customer has submitted a finance application but hasn’t reserved the vehicle. The details of these deals will be available in Sales Hub the following day, and you’ll also be notified via email.

Marking Deals as ‘Action Needed’

To enhance the functionality of Sales Hub, we’ve enabled Deals to be marked as ‘Action Needed’. This gives better visibility of stock items which require further action; essentially allowing the Deal to be marked as ‘unread’.

This new button has been added to the Deal detail page within Sales Hub.

 

These improvements have all been designed to provide a more seamless journey for your customers whilst driving greater efficiency within your business. They come as part of the continuous enhancements that we are making to the Deal Builder journey to create the best possible experience for retailers and car buyers.
