This summer we are launching our biggest new car marketing campaign to date, with the aim of making Auto Trader as known for our new car offering as we are for used.

With the “Found AT” campaign we’ll be drawing more consumers to site by showcasing the wide variety of brand new vehicles that can be found at Auto Trader, available now and ready to roll.

Kicking off on August 21st, the campaign will run until the end of the financial year (March 2025), giving us a huge opportunity to make a lasting impression on consumers.

Reaching an estimated 96% of the UK population 35 times

We’ll be reaching an estimated 96% of the UK population 35 times throughout the campaign duration with an eye catching creative that will standout across various media formats and consumer touchpoints.

TV, Radio and Cinema

Our new adverts will have a presence across all major TV networks, radio, Spotify and even cinema, as we will be featuring in the trailers for three of this year’s biggest blockbuster films, Beetlejuice, (Sept-Nov), Joker: Folie a Deux (Oct-Nov) , Gladiator Part II (Nov only).

Digital channels

This will be supported with a strong mix of digital advertising across YouTube, Online Video, Display and Paid Social.

For maximum impact we will also be using our owned channels such as organic social, email, app and the site to amplify the campaign, as well as supporting with PR activations.

Out Of Home advertising 

We will also capture consumer attention in key commuter areas such as bus stops and train stations with attention grabbing out of home (OOH) placements in multiple locations across Manchester and London. So keep an eye out over the coming months!

Capturing consumer attention

We’re going big with not one but two creative routes for this campaign.

We’ll see the introduction of red as the primary colour, with short, bold headlines to grab consumer attention across all media formats. Our standout, modern creative will use dynamic animations to bring personality to the ads and showcase the huge range of cars available on Auto Trader.

In addition to this we’ll also have a lifestyle advert where we will be using talent to portray all of the emotions you experience in those precious moments of sitting in your brand new car for the first time, taking in the beloved new car smell, discovering the features and taking it out for it’s first drive.
